Transparent dashboards using Etherium blockchain data

The purpose of this project is to develop transparent web dashboards based on Blockchain ecosystem data points.
Spellbook is used to transform Blockchain data into flat structure that is further used to prepare P&L and Balance sheet reports. The frontend was created in HTML/JS and backend powered by Django. The application is hosted on a dedicated server using Nginx Proxy, Docker and Postgresql. The web dashboard has similar functionalities that of Power BI as in Drill-down, context menus, export to excel and dynamic field chooser. Data is pulled from Dune using APIs on a defined schedule and updated on Postgresql.

Sales & Forecast Automation & Reporting

The objective of this project is to build a data warehouse from ground up consuming data from Squareup and Homebase APIs. Data ingestion is built using Python to pull data using APIs, dbt for data models, Postgresql as the data warehouse, n8n for process orchestration and Metabase for dashboarding and reporting. The entire solution is hosted on AWS leveraging EC2, S3 and CodeDeploy. Metabase houses around 100 reports enabled with email subscriptions and solution is equipped with disaster recovery, alerts and active monitoring using open source tools.

Power BI Dashboards Remediation

The existing dashboards on Power BI had issues with user experience, performance, data connectivity and DAX calculations. Solution was to improve the user experience by improving the overall design with consistent behaviors, visuals, color schemes, reduce data redundency by implemeting data models . Connectivity issues were resolved using data gateway and incorrect calculations were fixed using DAX.

Email archiving & preservation

Over the years, the count of email I received/sent and mail accounts increased. I wanted a way to build a backup solution for all my mail accounts in one place that I can use to search for historical transactions. That's when I came across Mailcow - a self hosted mail server that has all capabilities. I quickly setup the server with required components and enabled only incoming mails on a custom domain that I own. I can now configure this server on any device and search for hot/cold emails from any accounts in a single place.h
